time for an update.

So.

First semester of Multimedia design went all right. No surprise, as it was mostly old news, though I did learn a couple of software-related things. I am pleased.

This second semester I have the dubious pleasure of learning Flash and actionscript 3. I know a little actionscript 2, but to no spectacular level. I want to make (more) games in Flash, so this I have great motivation for learning. First, however, it seems I must bump into every kink the program might have, and experience the inadequacies of its parts. At the same time I understand there are more ways to achieve a goal, so there is a learning process there. Or here.

I've been drawing far less than I'm comfortable with, but I shall get back to my precious routine.
This semester has so far been full of technical issues, maybe I should have spent my first hour drawing anyway. I will from now on.
